Programmatic - Teens Reach

Be part of a fun volunteering opportunity for teens between the ages of 13-17. Earn community service credit while supporting the library by assisting with and promoting library programs and presenting the library's teen point-of-view to the library community. Teens Reach provides a unique way for youth to build leadership and other essential skills and in the process become library champions. Get involved and have your voice heard at the library!

Possible Tasks:

Teens Reach projects are vast and varied. Some tasks are, but not limited to:

  • Attending monthly meetings; schedules can be found here
  • Assisting with existing library programs
  • Creating and/or hosting new programs for the library community
  • Assisting with Friends of the Library Book Sales
  • Other additional in-person and virtual opportunities, as available by location (complete list of opportunities is found on Better Impact)

Requirements:

  • Age must be between the ages of 13-17 years old
  • Obtain parent/guardian consent to volunteer via online form
  • Complete any/all necessary online or in-person training, as needed
  • Be able to communicate via email
  • Log hours in our volunteer management software (Better Impact)

  • Age Must be at least 13+
